A hub for collaboration, research and education within the ICT area

IT University logotypeIT University is a joint organization between Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, to support research, education and collaboration within IT and communication (ICT).

The focus of the network is on interdisciplinary projects and tasks, that involve several departments and faculties. There is also a focus on collaboration between academy, industry and society in ICT-related issues.

  • Award winning work in Software Metrics

    [23 Nov 2018] Software metrics is measuring and evaluating different properties of a software to, for example, speed up product development. In the next step, researchers want to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence to the results to maximize the insight provided by software metrics.

    [23 Oct 2018] Jane Cleland-Huang, professor in Software Engineering at University of Notre Dame du Lac, Indiana, USA, was awarded the honorary doctorate at the IT Faculty on 19 October. Jane is an eminent researcher in the area of requirements engineering, safety critical systems and traceability.
